The pizza Canadian, despite the name, is a typical Sardinian recipe, known since the '60s.
It was so named because of the presence of a large colony of Canadians, who at that time lived in the province of Cagliari. Their habit of ordering a pizza with a combination of ingredients rather atypical (for the time), such as sausages, ham and mushrooms, this recipe ended up spread all over the island and elsewhere. Since then, a pizza that contains these ingredients is simply a pizza Canadian
Ingredients:
*500 g of sifted flour type 00;
*12 g of yeast;
*250 ml of warm water;
*10 g of salt;
*25 g of extra virgin olive oil;
*250g mozzarella;
*250g of chopped tomatoes;
*100g of cooked ham;
*100g pork sausages;
*100g of mushrooms;
*salt and pepper q.b.
Preparation:
After spreading the dough for pizza, add in sequence tomato, mozzarella and a drizzle of olive oil. Then add a few slices of ham, the sausage cut into slices and carefully dried porcini mushrooms.
Finally, add a pinch of salt and pepper, then cook it in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 30-40 minutes.
