The pizza with ricotta cheese and salami comes from one of the oldest recipes of pizza rustica Italian. Simple ingredients and low cost allowing to create a delicious pizza with ingredients, often homemade. It is a fairly light and pizza also ideal for any buffet or appetizers on special occasions, pleasant even in summer.
Ingredients for 4 people:
*500 g of sifted flour type 00;
*12 g of yeast;
*250 ml of warm water;
*10 g of salt;
*25 g of extra virgin olive oil;
*250g fresh ricotta;
*250g of chopped tomatoes;
*250g of salami (hunter or any other variant);
*salt q.b.
*basil q.b.
Preparing pizza and salami Ricotta:
After preparing the base for the pizza, roll out the dough in a baking dish, sprinkle with tomato, add a little olive oil and give a first baking at 180 degrees for about 10minutes. Add the ricotta, salami and a pinch of salt, then cook for another twenty minutes at the same temperature, then season with a few leaves of fresh basil.
